On June 23rd, 2023, this stunning Dublin location became the setting for a wedding that was as picturesque as it was heartfelt. In the heart of Dublin, as the festive spirit of Christmas enveloped the city, I had the privilege of capturing one of the most magical weddings this season. Melissa and Jason chose the enchanting Luttrellstown Castle as the venue for their special day, embodying the essence of a true Irish wedding during the most wonderful time of the year.

On September 1st, 2022, Alexis and Sean tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Old Castle in Ireland. Surrounded by the ruins of an ancient cathedral, the couple exchanged vows in a setting filled with history and romance. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Loughcrew Estate for a reception and dinner. The estate, located in County Meath, provided a stunning backdrop for the newlyweds and their guests, who hailed from both the United States and Ireland.

Some wedding days linger in your mind long after the final edit. Ailbhe and Aren’s wedding at BarberStone Castle, just a short drive from Dublin, was one of those days. With its sweeping stone courtyards, golden autumn trees, and a couple whose connection lit up every frame, it was a celebration of love, legacy, and the blending of two beautiful cultures.

And yes, the Irish weather gave us everything. Sunshine, drizzle, back to sunshine, a cheeky gust of wind—and, of course, a rainbow. It’s Ireland in the fall. The running joke? “If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes.”

As a wedding videographer in Ireland, I’ve seen many beautiful settings—but Markree Castle holds a kind of magic that’s hard to put into words. Then again, that’s exactly why I bring a camera.

It was early autumn—one of those Irish days where the sky can’t decide if it wants to rain, drizzle, or simply threaten to do both. You know the type. The kind where you pack an umbrella, sunglasses, and a good pair of boots, just in case. We joked that Irish weather in the fall is like an overexcited wedding guest: unpredictable but always present.

Mary and Colm, however, were completely unfazed. From the moment I arrived, there was a calmness about the day. From the moment we arrived, there was a warmth in the air—thankfully not just from the sun, which made a rare guest appearance. You know what they say about Irish summers: if you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes—or in this case, cross your fingers and be very, very lucky. Somehow, the sun smiled on Michelle and Stephen just in time for their outdoor ceremony, and it set the tone for a day full of joy, deep connections, and heartfelt celebration.

Tera and John's love story took them on a journey all the way to the Emerald Isle, Ireland, for a romantic escape and intimate elopement. The stunning Powerscourt Hotel, Autograph Collection, surrounded by rolling green hills, offered the perfect backdrop for their special day.
