There is something magical about Dublin in May — the soft light, the warm breeze, and the feeling that the whole city is quietly celebrating with you. And this beautiful spring wedding of Peter & Keith was exactly that: elegant, emotional, full of laughter, and set right in the heart of Dublin.
Their morning began at the stunning Green College, one of the most sophisticated wedding venues in Dublin city centre. The timeless architecture, warm interiors and calm atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for the start of their day. After a few relaxed moments with family - and a couple of fun portraits with their beloved pets - it was time to explore the city they love so much.
As a Dublin wedding photographer, I always encourage couples to choose locations that feel personal, and Peter & Keith did exactly that. We wandered through the historic courtyards of Trinity College, capturing elegant portraits surrounded by iconic stone architecture. The light was perfect, the mood effortless.
From there, the energy shifted into something vibrant and playful as we moved through the colourful streets of Temple Bar. These lively corners of Dublin always add character and charm to a wedding gallery, and the two of them looked absolutely incredible against the city’s red façades and narrow cobbled lanes.
But the place that felt the most “them” was Grand Canal Dock - a modern, creative neighbourhood filled with bold lines, open space and striking graffiti walls. Peter & Keith often spend time here, so photographing them in a place that holds meaning made the images even more special. Between laughter, movement and spontaneity, this part of the photoshoot became one of my favourites.
After our city adventure, we returned to Green College where the celebrations continued. Joyful speeches, warm embraces, a stunning room full of family and friends — the atmosphere was everything a couple could wish for.
It was an honour to document a day filled with such authenticity, tenderness and pure joy.
